As we come together to celebrate the vibrant lives of our senior citizens, we honour not just the years lived but the wisdom gained through the many changes experienced along the way. Life is a journey of transformation, and each chapter brings new lessons, new opportunities, and new perspectives. 

Your journey through life's changes has shaped the world we live in today, and you continue to inspire us with your courage to embrace every new season of life. With this in mind, the festival team and I are happy to announce a change in A Date With Friends. This year, we will have two iterations of the well-loved festival, one in March, and another in August. From next year onwards, the festival will be held in August annually. 

Held from 20 – 23 Mar 2025, the festival will feature free programmes, whilst the one presented from 21 to 24 Aug 2025 will be a full-fledged festival featuring ticketed and free performances. Both will continue to present four days of great and exciting performances and activities that you have come to expect from the festival. 

As the adage goes: Change is the only constant in life. Through the wisdom of your words, the experiences you share, and the love you impart, your story is a reminder that change is not something to fear, but something to welcome with open arms. Each change adds richness and depth to the story of our lives. 

The team and I are very happy to welcome you again. We look forward to making more memories and sharing experiences with you at A Date With Friends.
