Road closures around Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay for Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026 track resurfacing works
To facilitate the Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026, track resurfacing works will be taking place from 23 – 25 Aug 2026. Full road closures will take effect at Raffles Avenue.
Access to Esplanade Mall Driveway and Loading Bay remains available via Nicoll Highway into Raffles Avenue, with vehicles travelling against normal traffic flow under traffic marshal guidance and entering via the existing exit driveway.
Road Closures
- On 23 Aug 2026 and 24 Aug 2026
- Raffles Avenue: full road closure from 8.30pm – 6am (the next day)
- On 25 Aug 2026 (contingency plan)
- Raffles Avenue: full road closure from 8.30pm – 6am (the next day)
Vehicular Access Advisory
- Carpark Entries and Exit along Esplanade Drive (both carriageways) remain accessible at all times.
- Esplanade’s Mall Driveway, Taxi Stand and Loading Bay remain accessible at all times.
