High Commission of India, Singapore, proudly celebrates Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, an initiative of the Government of India to celebrate and commemorate 75 years of progressive India and the glorious history of its people, culture and achievements. The celebration is an embodiment of all that is progressive about India’s socio-cultural, political and economic identity. The official journey of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav commenced on 12th March 2021, the start of a 75-week countdown to our 75th anniversary of independence ending on 15th August 2023. The festivities in Singapore specially highlight the India-Singapore story rooted in strong commercial, cultural and people-to-people links across a millennium.
JCCI Singapore Foundation was established in May 1990 as a charity channel of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Singapore (JCCI Singapore) that represents the Japanese business community as a whole, to provide financial support towards the development of arts, culture, sports and education in Singapore.
The Silent Foundation is a registered charity founded by Mr Teng Ngiek Lian in 2010. It is dedicated to assisting the “silent sufferers” who are overlooked by society and are voiceless. The foundation’s purpose reflects Mr Teng’s professional practice of value investing in overlooked and unloved sectors.
