From 1 September 2025, all Singapore citizens aged 18 and above will receive $100 in credits, which can be used to offset ticket costs for Singapore arts and heritage programmes.

 

The credits are valid for use across 3 years, from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2028. They can be redeemed through authorised ticketing agents.

Launched during SG60, the SG Culture Pass is a new initiative by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY), designed to encourage Singapore citizens to support Singapore’s arts and heritage programmes.

 

Singapore citizens aged 18 and above in 2025 will receive SG Culture Pass credits worth $100 on 1 September 2025. These credits can be used to offset ticket purchases for eligible homegrown arts and heritage activities and programmes offered by authorised ticketing partners.

 

The credits will be valid from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2028, and must be used for events taking place on or before 31 December 2028. 

SG Culture Pass Credits can be accessed and utilised from 1 September 2025.

  1. Visit the SG Culture Pass Website.

  2. Log in with your Singpass to verify your profile.

  3. Upon successful verification, you will be able use the credits on eligible arts and heritage events. You can find the list of eligible events on the SG Culture Pass website. 

  1. Once you have selected the programme you are interested in, proceed to purchase the ticket. You will be redirected to the Ticketing Partner’s website to select your ticket. 

  2. Once you are ready to checkout, select SG Culture Pass credits from the list of payment methods. 

  3. You will be redirected to log in using Singpass. Once successful, you will be brought back to the payment page to complete your payment. 

  4. If you do not have sufficient credits to cover the full cost of the payment, you will be required to pay the balance using other payment methods. 

  5. Once the payment is completed and successful, the credits will be deducted from your account. 

  6. You may check your transaction history and balance on the SG Culture Pass website. 

No, your SG Culture Pass credits cannot be pooled or combined with another individual's credits for ticket purchases, as the credits are tied to your individual Singpass account. 

Yes, you can use your SG Culture Pass credits to purchase tickets for others, including friends and family, as long as the total cost remains within your available credit balance.

 

If the amount exceeds your credits, you may top up the difference using other payment methods, such as credit card or PayNow. 

Yes, if an event is cancelled by the event organiser, the SG Culture Pass credits used to purchase tickets will be refunded to your SG Culture Pass account. If you had made additional payments using other methods, they will be refunded to the original source of payment.

 

For details on how refunds are processed, please contact the authorised ticketing partner handling the event. 

No, you will not be able to retrospectively apply SG Culture Pass credits to offset any purchases made before the event became an eligible event.

 

You are encouraged to use your SG Culture Pass credits to explore other eligible programmes and activities if you have pre-purchased tickets to programmes prior the launch of SG Culture Pass. 

No, your SG Culture Pass credits will be applied in full to offset the cost of the tickets.

 

If your ticket costs exceed your available SG Culture Pass balance, you will be guided to make payment for the remaining balance using credit card or PayNow.

Credit card discounts are only applicable if the full payment is made with the credit card. Payments made with SG Culture Pass credits and topped up with a credit card would not be eligible for credit card discounts. 

From 1 September 2025 onwards, eligible Singapore Citizens will be able to access and utilise their SG Culture Pass credits via the SG Culture Pass website, and can expect to receive an SMS from a gov.sg SMS Sender ID with information about the SG Culture Pass.

 

SG Culture Pass will never send any SMSes asking for your personal information or banking details to claim your credits. If you encounter any suspicious messages related to SG Culture Pass, call the 24/7 ScamShield Helpline at 1799 or use the ScamShield app to check. For more information on scams, members of the public can visit scamshield.gov.sg

SG Culture Pass credits are linked to your personal Singpass account and can only be accessed by logging in securely. If you notice unrecognised transactions or believe your credits have been wrongfully claimed, please contact the SG Culture Pass Help Centre at +65 6338 3632. We will investigate the issue and assist you accordingly.
