Artist Talk by Hong Shu-ying

Held in conjunction with the exhibition 印映 reflections impressions, this talk by artist Hong Shu-ying sheds light on the inspirations behind her work and the exhibition. She will share more about her fascination with found materials on the internet and the absurd world of erhu stock images. Hong will also share how and why she works with found images and give a peek into her workspace and workflow. The audience will also be invited to partake in a close reading of a selection of stock images the artist found on the internet.
