With over 30 years of experience in Singapore’s arts scene and with international experience that ranges from Asia to South Africa and Europe, Jeremiah Choy is a creative director, producer and curator. He has directed and produced theatre shows, concerts, arts festivals, Singapore and international events such as Singapore Day (Sydney, Shanghai, San Francisco), Spotlight Singapore (Cape Town, Bratislava and Prague, and Mexico City), NS50 and Sing50.
For 2022, he show-directed Incandescent – The City Never Sleeps for the NUS Arts Festival, Singapore Night Festival’s Cathay Hotel, The Curse of the Missing Red Shoe, 80’s Power Hour for Tworks’ Play Writing Competition showcase, and Day Break, a commission by Esplanade for their 20th anniversary celebrations, performed by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra.
He also dramaturged Get In Touch for Esplanade’s Huayi Festival.
He is now teaching at NUS Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music and is part of NAC’s resource panel.
