Synopsis

Join Yanto Sani as he performs original songs spanning the genres of rock, hip-hop and electronic music. This includes well-received tracks that were performed during Suria’s inaugural Projek Lagu competition, such as Senyum Walau Kecewa, which placed in the top spot of Ria 89.7FM’s charts, as well as Bebas, which has charted in the Top 10 songs in Southeast Asia through Ria 89.7FM. Other songs such as Menutup Dosa and Masihkan ada Cinta will be featured as well, with features from other talented artists such as Eliza Cuarez, Rahila Rashun, KP Black, Hasif from Saat Band and Ahmadul Amin.

Yanto Sani

Yanto Sani is a true patron of the arts and has contributed to the scene for more than decade. His latest foray into music stems from his aim to shine a light on alternative Malay music. In 2021, he became the champion of Projek Lagu, a national songwriting competition hosted by MediaCorp’s Suria. 

 

With Yanto’s experience with composition and arrangement, and the polished production skills of prodbydan (one half of the duo JAGADEDGE), the two seamlessly merged rock, hip-hop and electronic music for a sound that has captured the ears of listeners.
