Crescent Girls’ School Alumni Band

The Crescent Girls’ School Alumni Band is an extension of the Crescent Girls' School Symphonic Band (CGSSB). It was first formed informally by graduates from the CGSSB in the late 1970s. Since then, the group has gathered on a seasonal basis, staging items as part of the CGSSB annual public concerts. Under the baton of the band's founding father Mr Lee Seck Chiang (93 this year) and his proteges Mdm Tan Soh Hwa and Mdm Samantha Chong, they are excited to be staging a full concert independently as part of Esplanade’s Beautiful Sunday series.

Beautiful Sunday Tour 

Sign up for this exclusive tour where you will learn about the world-class acoustics of Esplanade’s crown jewel, its Concert Hall, and get up close with Singapore’s largest pipe organ. Then, enjoy the Beautiful Sunday live concert while seated in the Esplanade Box or Premier Box where you will experience the Concert Hall’s sublime acoustics first-hand.
