Megumi Acorda has been performing and writing music with several bands, alongside her own solo endeavours in writing and recording music. Over the span of a few years, she shared several releases and demos online, which gradually garnered an enthusiastic online following. Naturally, Acorda decided to pursue the longstanding interest of performing live. Today, Megumi Acorda leads a five-piece act, playing music that may possibly be described as dream pop, or whatever sound captures the synchrony of the melodic, fuzzed out, and the personal.
