Synopsis

Look forward to a range of languages, genres, and styles arranged in a unique a cappella style. This performance by contemporary a capella group, New Recording 47, will feature covers of local artists such as Sezairi and Olivia Ong, as well as a few National Day songs to usher in the festivities.

 

Get acquainted with their original works, such as What It Used To Be (2020), as well as originals from some of their singer-songwriter members. Join New Recording 47 as they celebrate local music and explore the different facets of Singaporean music.

Founded in 2018, New Recording 47 is a five-member contemporary a cappella group from Singapore that sings a multilingual repertoire of popular songs, oldies, and local Singaporean music.

 

Some notable achievements include a feature on Singapore Airlines' Made In Singapore playlist, a TikTok appearance in the 94th Oscars' We Don't Talk About Bruno segment and a cover of The Mysterious Ticking Noise going viral on TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
