Synopsis

The young singers from Nanyang Primary School Choir invites you to journey with them through cheerful and fun folk tunes and children’s songs, a humorous duet of cats, songs that inspire hope and confidence, and sing of dignity and inner strength. Through a mix of unison songs and two-part harmonies, let the NYPS Choir bring you a gentle evening of lighthearted, relaxing, heartwarming and inspiring melodies.

Nanyang Primary School Choir

The Nanyang Primary School Choir was started in 1989. Between 30 and 40 young choristers gather weekly to experience the joy of singing together and deepen their skills and passion for their art. Choir members enjoy forging strong bonds with their fellow schoolmates through a myriad of concerts at various venues and exciting performances and contributing to a larger community beyond the school. The choir has participated in numerous performances and competitions locally and overseas. It has garnered stellar accolades over the years and is warmly received at performing events.
