Synopsis

18-year-old singer-songwriter Jeyes takes the stage for his first show at Esplanade, showcasing the songs that made up the last six eventful years of his school life. His music journey began at just 14 years old when he realised his talent and passion of the guitar. Currently an artist with the start-up label PARKA (run by friend and collaborator Dominic Yuan), Jeyes is currently recording his debut EP and is excited to begin his journey in Singapore’s live music scene as a promising young artist.

Jeyes is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter known for his acoustic bedroom pop sound. His innate musicality was made clear from the get-go when he first uploaded an acoustic guitar cover of Easy by Mac Ayres to streaming platforms, which garnered over 500,000 streams on Spotify. He then entered the foray of original singer-songwriter music with singles like iirwya and We Won’t. His uniquely warm and sincere boy-next-door personality has become the trademark of his sound, as he works towards creating music that resonates emotionally with his listeners. He is set to launch his debut EP in early 2023, teasing this release with singles one of your seasons and tired song.
