Synopsis

Vocalist and perforer Rae Atrista presents the music that has shaped her life and values throughout the years. The repertoire will include J-pop favourites from different generations, with songs by Utada Hikaru, LiSA, Itsuwa Mayumi as well as music from anime series such as Demon Slayer and Rurouni Kenshin.

 

This performance will also feature a collaboration with singer-songwriter Chang Boon, who has won numerous local singing competitions such as the NHK Cup by the Japanese Association of Singapore, and was also invited to perform in Japan for the TV series, Kanjani no Shiwake in 2013.

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places. No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

A singer, emcee, and voice talent, Rae has performed on many Singapore-baed Japanese events such as Anime Festival Asia’s Akiba Stage and TOFF Anime Matsuri, D’JParty, J’Obsession, EOY J-Culture Festival and The Cosplay Club Show. Rae hopes that she would be able to continue connecting with the world through her singing and the music that she holds dearest to her heart.
