Synopsis

Get ready to move, make noise and explore the magic of your body and voice!  

 

In this fun-filled workshop, you will dive into the world of physical and vocal theatre, where sound, rhythm and movement come together to tell stories in creative and surprising ways. Through playful exercises and drama games, you will get to experiment, express, and discover new ways to use your body and voice—no experience needed!  

 

All you need is your curiosity and imagination. Come join us for a joyful journey of exploration, where every sound and every movement can become a part of your own little piece of theatre magic!

Artist Information

Chang Wei Loy (Malaysia)

Chang Wei Loy is a precocious and thoughtful young man with a positive attitude, great skills and all the makings of a wonderful artist. He is currently artistic director in Sun Son Theatre Taiwan. He has participated in works by Legend Lin Dance Theatre, Head Spring Theatre, and Step Out’s In Search of Memory at the Macau Arts Festival. He was also artistic director of Tamsui Environmental Arts Festival for years. In 2020, he was invited by Shan Puppet Theater, as a guest director of its traditional and contemporary theatre production Man and the Puppet. In 2022, he was a guest director of Untouchable Peach Theatre Company production Wen Wu Tian Xiang, which won the Best Performance of the Year at the 34th Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music.
