Filling the ocean to reach a safe haven—because some dreams know no limits.
Relentlessly moving mountains—because believing in change fuels our journey.
Chasing the sun to keep a single flower alive—because hope blooms in every step.
Across generations, stories have always brought people together. Sun Son Theatre invites all to gather round, listen and reimagine in this entertaining theatre experience that features its signature hallmarks of infectious live music and physical theatre.
Inspired by timeless myths and endless imagination, A Little Goes A Long Way breathes new life into familiar folktales of perseverance, resilience and grit, connecting them with the challenges and dreams of today. Through engaging storytelling, live music, movement, and puppetry, the performers bring the land, ocean and sky to life. Each story opens a “treasure box” of wonder, revealing a lament of crossing the ocean, a painstaking effort of moving a mountain, and the secret of chasing the sun.

Founded since 1998, Sun Son Theatre is a distinctive contemporary group in Taiwan that blends live music, physical movement and drama to create immersive performances. Co-founded by Chien Yen-chen and the late Leonson Ng, they believe in the power of body and sound as unique forms of self-expression. This philosophy drives their commitment to exploring creativity and innovation in theatre.
Sun Son Theatre thrives on collaboration, bringing together artists from diverse fields such as music, theatre, dance, and fine arts. This interdisciplinary approach allows them to produce works where acting, live music and dance seamlessly integrate, creating dynamic, multi-layered experiences for audiences.
Their works embrace a diverse range of performing styles, from indoor to outdoor performances, spanning ritualistic, experimental, and family-friendly theatre, expanding the possibilities of modern theatre. Rooted in Sun Son Theatre, it has grown into Sun Son Percussion Ensemble and Sun Son Plus, continuously exploring interdisciplinary performing arts. Sun Son Theatre is one of the Taiwan Top performing arts groups.
