Pokémon Brass Concert
A recording of the Pokémon Brass Concert, performed by musicians from the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo.
How would a Pokémon battle sound on brass instruments?
Super effective! Players from the NHK Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo prove their prowess by weaving iconic Pokémon themes and classical motifs into a single medley. Regarded as one of Asia's leading orchestras, the NHK Symphony Orchestra brings its distinguished brass players to Singapore, where their rich tone and polished teamwork showcase both the power and the finesse that brass instruments are known for.
It is a performance worth catching in full, as the tunes that accompanied many childhood adventures evolve from handheld beeps into the full, burnished weight of brass, filling the open air of the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre like a battle arena.
Presented as part of Classics 2026, bringing the best of Western classical music to Esplanade.
