Bukit View Primary School Angklung and Kulintang Ensemble

Bukit View Primary School Angklung and Kulintang Ensemble came into existence in 2009. Its establishment aimed to foster unity among students from diverse backgrounds. As an ensemble, they embark on a musical journey that not only nurtures an appreciation for various music genres but also cultivates lasting friendships and a sense of belonging within the school and community. 

Under the skilled guidance of Mr. Shahneezar Shahnan, our students develop essential qualities such as resilience, perseverance, collaboration, and leadership skills. The ensemble, since 2010, has been actively participating in SYF (Singapore Youth Festival) and showcased their talent at prestigious venues across Singapore, including Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay, the Asian Civilization Museum, and the National Archive. 

Our current lineup consists of dedicated performers ranging from Primary 1 to Primary 5 students. Despite their young age, these students exhibit genuine passion for music and are thrilled to seize every opportunity to perform.
