The Showstoppers Musical Theatre Ensemble

Sing’theatre is a non-profit musical theatre company that is committed to performing for a better society. Aside from being involved in a series of community outreach programmes in hospitals such as the National University Hospital, Tan Tock Seng Hospital and Singapore General Hospital, and producing professional shows every year, Sing’theatre also provides musical theatre classes for both children and adults.

As part of Sing’theatre Academy, the Showstoppers Musical Theatre Ensemble comprises a group of adult students who have a strong passion for musical theatre and a love for performing. Every term, Showstoppers members are first selected through an audition process, before going through 12 weeks of intensive musical theatre training and putting on a full-scale musical at the end of the semester. Recent shows include Into The Woods, Working and Once On This Island.
