Synopsis

The Anglo-Chinese Junior College Alumni Choir is pleased to be part of Voices – A Festival of Song 2022 and will present a wide-ranging repertoire spanning centuries and various musical styles. Besides early music and contemporary offerings from Palestrina to Pärt, the choir will also teach and lead the audience in a fun and up-tempo piece by Jonathan Dove.

Advisory:

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places. No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Anglo-Chinese Junior College (ACJC) Alumni Choir comprises singers who have been inspired by their time in the college choir to continue performing choral music. Integrity, an eagerness to learn and a pursuit of excellence are values shared by choristers across the years. The choir performs annually in the ACJC Choir concert An Evening with Friends, presents an Advent concert each December, and has embarked on community projects as well as competition and concert tours overseas. Over the years, the choir has been privileged to perform original works by composers from both Singapore and abroad. At its heart, the choir firmly believes in making music that blesses and brings joy to its audience.
