Get dressed in your party best and be ready to celebrate Children’s Day with PIP and all of us at Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay! We welcome audiences of all ages and abilities to join us on 7 Oct 2022 for this year’s Octoburst! which features lots of performances by some of the most enthusiastic young performers that will excite and inspire everyone.

First up, children from Kinderland Preschool Marching Band return to Octoburst! with great fanfare at the Esplanade Forecourt Garden. At the Esplanade Concourse, young talents from Kids’ Philharmonic Orchestra take centerstage with familiar classical tunes. We then turn the spotlight on our young audiences who can participate in highly interactive programmes like our mass dance event with Distinct Creative Arts and a move-along performance by piano duo, duodentity.

Children and adults alike can join in the Where’s PIP? game where the whole family can get to go on a self-guided hunt for PIP. You would also be delighted to hear that our well-loved meet-and-greet event with PIP is finally back after a three-year hiatus!

For those who are unable to join us at the centre, we have an online programme, PLAYtime! Playlist from Octoburst! 2021 which returns this year with accompanying karaoke videos that you can sing along to from wherever you are.
