Synopsis

Mari Menari is an annual performance that is part of Muara Festival, which showcases the talent and youthful energy of dancers from primary, secondary and tertiary schools. By performing on the “big stage”, this platform encourages the youth performers, allowing them to get exposure and gain confidence, and thus promoting the continuation of the Malay Dance Arts.

 

Mari Menari 1 will feature dancers from 24 primary and secondary schools.

 

Muara Festival is presented by Era Dance Theatre in collaboration with Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay as part of Esplanade’s Pentas series.

No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
