I just want to thank Esplanade and everyone who has gone into setting this up. My mum keeps saying that she can’t sing, but…she is always happy after the sessions, and it is a joy to share the hour with everyone. Whether we can sing or not…it’s the enjoyment that counts.

Developed in partnership with Dementia Singapore in 2016, Sing Out Loud! provides opportunities for persons living with dementia and their caregivers to deepen their engagement through singing and intergenerational interactions. The programme builds on the brain’s well-known preserved memory for song and recall.
