This 4-day training programme combines theory and practice in relation to working behind the stage in the arts or entertainment industry.
This programme aims to equip the participant with the required skills and knowledge for basic sound operations in the arts or entertainment industry.
Audio terminologies and applications
Basic electrical concepts
Types of audio equipment, cables and accessories
Setting up audio equipment and dismantling sequences
Techniques to run microphone and loudspeaker cables
Continuity tester and its applications
Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Participation for Demonstrate Understanding of Basic Sound Operations when they successfully complete the course and assessment.
Who should attend?
Theatre Technicians or individuals who have an interest to work in technical theatre and or related industries.

Participants need to fulfill the following requirements:
Must successfully complete training and assessment
Meet the minimum of 75% attendance
All participants will be required to wear safety shoes during the training programme
