Dancers from various schools and community groups gather for a high-energy showcase of their original dance routines.

Students from LASALLE College of the Arts School of Dance present an eclectic hip hop dance performance that showcases the choreographic variety of Syaril Syazzy and Charmaine Wu, two of the school’s dance students. Performed by students from the college’s Diploma in Dance programme.

NUS Dance Blast!
NUS Dance Blast! was founded by passionate individuals who want to spread their love for hip hop to the rest of the student body. At the helm of this predominantly hip hop group is resident choreographer Patrick Loo, who has more than 15 years of experience in the dance scene. Under his artistic direction and the management of National University of Singapore Centre For the Arts, NUS Dance Blast! has grown from a small group of passionate individuals to a premium dance body in NUS and the Singapore dance scene.

NTU MJ HipHop is a 300-strong dance club in Nanyang Technological University consisting of active members and alumni who excel in various dance genres. Under the guidance of Patrick Loo, respected as the godfather of hip hop in Singapore, the club has grown tremendously. Managed entirely by its members, NTU MJ HipHop also ensures that in the pursuit of proficiency in the art form, they advocate the importance of pursuing academic excellence.

Foreign Bodies
Established in 1994, Foreign Bodies is a street dance club that enjoys a range of dance styles such as popping, locking, waacking, house, b-boy, with a strong foundation in hip hop. With their unique style, they have gained recognition and won a number of battles and competitions.

SIM Dreamwerkz
Founded in 2006, DreamWerkz has evolved from a contemporary dance club into a diversified street dance club that specialises in hip hop amongst many other dance genres. Currently under the wings of O School instructors Xue Hui and Fredy, the club has grown tremendously in size and skill over the years. As the largest Arts & Culture club in SIM, the group is now 120-member strong.

Dreamwerkz is an active dance club that has participated in many events such as Chingay, Super24 and Singapore Dance Delight.
