Best known as the founder and leader of post-rock band mouse on the keys, Akira Kawasaki is a drummer, composer, teacher and music producer from Tokyo. His other projects include composing for commercials, as well as guest drumming for musicians such as Akeboshi and illion, to name a few. Kawasaki is a sought-after drum instructor who conducts private lessons as well as at the Vantan Design Institute School in Tokyo.

Join him as he demonstrates and analyses drum patterns, and how they work in songs. He will also take this opportunity to share his approach to music composition. This workshop will be conducted in English, and is recommended for musicians.
