Get involved in the festival as a da:ns kaki

Esplanade’s da:ns festival is looking for passionate and committed volunteers to be ambassadors for the 2016 festival.

As a da:ns kaki, get behind the scenes and work closely with the festival team, meet artists and try out a whole host of different roles. Best of all, meet like-minded people and pick up some new dance moves along the way.

In return, you will receive an official da:ns kaki festival tee, special mementos, and sneak peeks of the festival only available to the da:ns kakis!

The kaki’s kaki

For returning kakis

Joining a new group can be intimidating to some, so we are looking for veteran kakis to help us welcome new kakis. Exchange numbers, make friends and show them around!

Shall We Dance?

For the dance enthusiast

Rove around the Esplanade with our instructors and surprise members of the public with 5-minute dance lessons. Infect the crowd with your enthusiasm and get them to try different dance styles.

What’s Your Move?

For the dance enthusiast

Join the mass dance party by the waterfront! Instructors will teach you the dance routines at rehearsals, so you can show off the moves at the party and lead members of the public along.

People of da:ns

For photographers and writers

Everyone has a dance story to tell! During the festival, go around interviewing our wonderful festival goers about their encounters with dance, and photograph them around Esplanade.
