About Taiwan Calling Music Festival
Taiwan Calling Music Festival is an indoor music festival that promotes Taiwanese indie music. First held in 2011, it was founded by three Taiwan indie musicians Oliver Ching, Mike Han and Chen Chien Chi. The festival has had six editions in Hong Kong and Mainland China since then, and has established itself as the music festival for Taiwan indie musicians to profile themselves, and is an important avenue for indie music audience to discover new artists and music. In 2015, the organiser also started the Little Taiwan Calling Music Festival, a more intimate version of the original with a line-up of up-and-coming names, which will be taking place in Singapore and Malaysia for the first time in 2018.
