About the artists
Kseniia Vokhmianina performs internationally as a piano recitalist, concerto soloist, and chamber musician on various concert stages in Singapore and overseas. A recipient of the Lee Foundation Scholarship, she studied at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (Singapore), and consequently continued with the degree course offered in collaboration with the Royal College of Music (UK). In 2015, she completed her Master of Music degree with distinction at the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University in Ukraine. She has been a student of the distinguished pianist and pedagogue, Professor Boris Kraljevic, for many years.
Iryna Vokhmyanina obtained her master’s degree from Moscow State Pedagogical University with the specialisation Pedagogue of Music (piano). After completing postgraduate studies, she obtained her PhD in Theory and Methodology of Professional Education (Music). For the last three decades, Iryna has been teaching piano, accompaniment class, and chamber music, and performing. She is a laureate of several international music competitions and often performs chamber music recitals. Iryna has been the Founder and Artistic Director of the project Symphony of Motherhood in Singapore since 2012 and a Founding Member and Director of outreach programmes by Chamber Music Society of Singapore since 2015.
