Budak Nakal Hujung Simpang is a Malaysian ska-reggae Nusantara band consisting of John Bear, Syed Danial, Suffren G, Ameer, Haziq, Sam, Iz (Izgastro), Hakim (Lampyy), Montel, Fifi and Ad Wafri, their latest addition.
The band began forming in July 2015 after Noh Salleh asked John Bear to open for one of Hujan’s shows. They started with six members in the first place, and eventually grew to 11.
Living and breathing the very spirit behind their name, the band embraces their "nakal" (naughty) label with playful, easygoing energy. Their music touches on everything from love and faith to family and the world around them.
Their first album, Bumantara, features five songs. In mid-2019, the band toured Peninsular Malaysia alongside other acts. They also performed at a reggae festival in Bali, Indonesia in late 2018, and were invited to Singapore to play at Esplanade for Bulan Bahasa.
In early January 2020, they released the music video for their single Mr. Pollution, available on the Budak Nakal Hujung Simpang YouTube channel. Their second album, Darsana, was launched in 2023.
