Discover the art of fabric looming in this fun, hands-on workshop! Learn the traditional technique of weaving threads on a loom and create your own unique Chinese New Year decor piece or other design motifs such as cherry blossom, cloud. Participants get to enjoy the creative process that fosters mindfulness and craft something that is personal and meaningful.
Fabric looming is a traditional weaving technique where threads are interlaced to create a fabric. Using a loom, participants will learn how to set up the warp (vertical threads) and weave in the weft (horizontal threads) to form patterns.

Aestival Elements is founded by Valerie Aw, who has been passionate about crafting since a young age. She learnt the art of Chinese paper cutting from her artist father, Aw Tee Hong. She enjoys the intricate art of traditional Chinese paper cutting and the creativity of diorama-making. While Valerie has a background in banking, her true passion lies in the world of handmade creations and she is excited to share her skills and enthusiasm with you in this workshop!
