Synopsis

Bring your child along for a hands-on introduction to traditional Chinese hand puppetry in this workshop! 

 

At Parent-Child Workshop: Little Puppets Celebrate CNY!, you and your child will discover the rich history of the traditional art form and learn basic puppet manipulation techniques. After which, participants get the valuable opportunity to create and perform their own story using the hand puppets! 

Admission Age:
For ages 6 and above, with an accompanying adult. Accompanying adult must be above 16.
Language: Mandarin, English

The Finger Players is one of Singapore’s leading theatre companies, best known for inventively fusing traditional and contemporary puppetry elements and integrating other artistic disciplines into its visually arresting productions.   

  

Founded in 1999, The Finger Players is Singapore’s oldest contemporary puppetry theatre company. Since its inception, it has been invited to perform in various countries. Its body of work is extensive and has garnered recognition from both domestic and international media.
