Malam Balada by Zalelo & Fauzie Laily

Zalelo, Singapore’s R&B princess and daughter of the late veteran Malaysian singer Aman Shah, began her musical journey by sharing covers and original songs on the faceless audio platform SoundCloud.

As a multilingual artist known for her versatility, Zalelo is currently delving deeper into hip hop, following her triumph in the #ZamaeraRapChallenge organised by Malaysian rapper Zamaera. She has started to expand her horizons by collaborating with artists across borders. Notably, she has worked with Bruneian artist SWANZ on his hit track MAJAL, creating an English version which has been streamed more than 50,000 times.

Zalelo plans to release her first EP later this year, under Def Jam Recordings.

With a deep passion for singing, Fauzie joined Mediacorp Suria’s third edition of Anugerah in 2005 and emerged as the second runner-up. After the competition, Fauzie recorded his debut single Selalu with KRU records (Malaysia) which topped the charts on Ria 89.7fm.

His smooth vocals and bilingual capabilities make him a regular performer on variety shows airing on both Malay and English Singaporean channels. He recently released his latest single Tunggu off his debut EP after a 12-year wait.
