Synopsis

The Catholic High School Edward Becheras Choir invites you to a delightful evening of songs from around the world. Journey across musical cultures and be transported through time and space, as voices carry stories, emotions and traditions on wings of song.

 

Bringing the arts to communities in need through Limelight

Half of the ticket proceeds will go toward supporting Esplanade’s community engagement programmes which bring the arts to at-risk youth, the elderly, people with special needs and other underserved communities.

Catholic High School Edward Becheras Choir

The Catholic High School Edward Becheras Choir is a premier all-male secondary school choir from Singapore. The choir's repertoire ranges from sacred songs to new choral music, from folk song arrangements to hits from musicals. In the last few years, the choir has focused on collaborations, both within the school as well as with other choirs. As part of a full school comprising both primary and secondary sections, the choir also regularly engages primary students in singing activities.

 

The choir has achieved excellence consistently at the biennial Singapore Youth Festival (SYF) organised by Singapore's Ministry of Education, achieving the Distinction award in 2025.
