Temasek Junior College Choirs

The Temasek Junior College (TJC) Choirs unite in a powerful concert filled with songs and stories of adventure, passion and strength.

The concert will feature a collection of exciting double-choir works by Vaclovas Augustinas, Jake Runestad, Z. Randall Stroope, and Singaporean composer and TJC alumni Chen Zhangyi, whose specially commissioned work, The Air Around You, will receive its world premiere at the concert.

The choir will also present a wide range of choral music including renaissance and romantic works, Asian folk tunes, choral pop music and contemporary choral works by renowned composers including Ryan Cayabyab, Francisco Feliciano, Edward Elgar, Dan Forrest, Matthew Harris, Corrado Margutti, Pierre Passereau and Sergei Taneyev.

Bringing the arts to communities in need through Limelight

Half of the ticket proceeds will go toward supporting Esplanade’s community engagement programmes which bring the arts to at-risk youth, the elderly, people with special needs and other underserved communities.
