Corps extrêmes: the art of climbing

In this bouldering workshop, participants will explore how climbing can be used to expand one’s creative expression and discover movements that can be performed on a climbing wall.

Guided by Camille Doumas, climber and performer in Corps extrêmes, this is an opportunity for participants to experience a different approach to climbing based on material developed for the creation.

This is an intermediate level (minimum V3/6A) climbing workshop geared towards dance, circus, as well as climbing enthusiasts and professionals who have been climbing regularly. This workshop is free by registration, and open to Esplanade&Me members who are also Boulder Movement Citizens (weekly/monthly/off-peak) and ticket holders to da:ns focus – Corps extrêmes.

This workshop is presented by Esplanade and Boulder Movement in conjunction with the performances of Corps extrêmes by Rachid Ouramdane / Compagnie de Chaillot for da:ns focus – Out of Site, a weekend of programmes that invites you to the terrain where extreme sports and dance meet.
