Synopsis

Voices of Nanyang reflects Impressions of Nanyang Arts Association’s perception of Nanyang music, on how it marries and blends influences from Singapore’s ethnic groups — Chinese, Malay and Indian. This showcase will feature original compositions and arrangements by Singapore composers and artists, such as Bho Shambo, Alunan Nusantara, Aspirations and many more.

To allow more people the opportunity to book tickets for our popular Beautiful Sunday concerts, with the effect from January 2023, we will be reducing the maximum number of tickets that each patron is able to book from 12 to 6 tickets per transaction, per show.

 

If you are unable to join us, you may pass the e-ticket to someone else or return your tickets via the link on your SISTIC confirmation email. This is so that the tickets may be made available to someone else who would like to attend. Thank you.

 

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places.

IImpressions of Nanyang Arts Association

Formerly known as the People's Association Youth Chinese Orchestra (PAYCO), Impressions of Nanyang Arts Association is an ensemble that aims to share original compositions that represent Nanyang music. The association is closely partnered with many outstanding arts groups in Singapore, such as Orkestra Sri Temasek, Reverberance and Rhythm Masala.
