This March, under the baton of SNYCO Music Director Quek Ling Kiong, embark on a musical journey that explores the theme of dragons found in various myths and legends across the world. Experience a diverse range of musical styles spanning from the East to the West, encompassing orchestral and pop genres and with tracks from cinematic favourites such as How to Train Your Dragon and Legend of the Dragon


Note: There will be no Beautiful Sunday tour for Let There Be Dragons! on 10 March 2024.

Should the event be fully subscribed, limited tickets may be made available when ticket-holders return their tickets. The Singapore National Youth Chinese Orchestra (SNYCO) is an orchestra organised under the Ministry of Education’s (MOE) National Project of Excellence (NPOE). Members of the orchestra come from a diverse range of backgrounds and are selected through a rigorous recruitment process. Since its inception, SNYCO has taken the additional step of performing in outreach and educational concerts in neighbourhood schools, the heartlands and communities.


To date, SNYCO has nurtured numerous outstanding musicians, with members winning awards in the 2022 Singapore Chinese Music Competition and with eight members establishing themselves as professional full-time musicians by successfully joining the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO). 


Under the leadership of Music Director Quek Ling Kiong and Associate Conductor Moses Gay, SNYCO seeks to nurture aspiring youths to be the future pillars of Singapore’s Chinese music scene.

Relaxed Environment

This is a Relaxed Environment (RE) performance. Perfect for anyone who benefits from being able to make a noise, leave and return to their seat or access the toilets during the performance. No modifications are made to the performance.
