Join in the thrill of celebrating Halloween with Mus’Art Youth Wind Orchestra, with pieces from iconic shows like Enchanted, Spirited Away and the orchestra’s very own Singapore version of Flashing Flora, The Naughty Nimble Hungry Ghost on the Loose. Come in Halloween costumes!

Mus’Art Youth Wind Orchestra (MYWO)

The Mus’Art Youth Wind Orchestra (MYWO), under the auspices of the Jurong Green Community Club, is a project of excellence. The orchestra provides avenue for young musicians, from secondary schools, junior colleges, international schools and tertiary institutions.

 

The aim of the MYWO is to provide each student with an exemplary wind orchestral experience and the highest quality professional music education and training. In 2017, the MYWO took part in their first World Music Contest (WMC) in Kerkrade and achieved a distinction award, and was ranked top three in the third division of the 18th WMC in 2017.

 

As part of the holistic approach to the education system, MYWO aims to continually inspire and nurture young musicians, enthusiastic amateurs and dedicated music lovers.
