Synopsis

Join the SOTA Wind Ensemble for an exciting evening of classical favourites and iconic music from beloved video games and films. This performance brings together songs from Pokémon, Super Mario Galaxy and Aladdin, alongside classical repetoire such as Debussy’s Petite Suite and the English folk song Greensleeves, all in different instrumental arrangements.

SOTA Wind Ensemble

The School of the Arts (SOTA) Wind Ensemble consists of woodwind and brass students across all six year levels at SOTA. Led by chamber coach Tan Yao Cong and conductor Lee Jinjun, the ensemble has performed at various SOTA events such as the annual open houses and showcases.

 

They have also performed at external events such as the Online Whit Friday Championships, the Singapore International Band Festival and the Lee Kuan Yew Water Prize Ceremony, an event commemorating and honouring exceptional contributions towards international water challenges through technology and policy.
