Esplanade Black Room
The Singapore Wind Symphony Youth presents a captivating journey through the many nuances of musical expression. From lush brass harmonies of Hess and Premru, to the technical inventiveness of Berio’s Sequenza I, this chamber repertoire celebrates a vast stylistic spectrum. This programme also features the world premiere of Pierre Alexandre Meur’s Chants de la Forêt, specially commissioned for this performance to showcase the sounds of the forest through a flute quintet.
