What began as a SoundCloud comment between strangers blossomed into an extraordinary musical partnership. Max and Kavya share a rare alignment in alternative-indie tastes—from Madison Cunningham’s alternative folk songs to Hiatus Kaiyote’s jazz-fusion and Charli XCX’s electronic pop—and translate this into magic on stage. Their original track, letter, highlights Kavya’s gentle vocals supported by intricate harmonies in a song form more that is more akin to a film score. The duo embrace multiplicity, and are not bound by any one genre.
