Christmas Eve with Hillary Francis

Hillary Francis writes songs straight from the heart, drawing inspiration from people, his surroundings and most importantly, his Creator. A multilingual multi-instrumentalist, he plays the guitar and drums and has been entertaining audiences since 1965.

Throughout his career, he has produced several charity albums, including A Tribute To Mother Teresa, A Dedication To Mother Mary For The New Millennium and Peace. In 2011, he wrote A Song For Japan to raise funds for victims of the Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.

He has performed and collaborated with renowned artists and groups, such as the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and The Sandboys. Notably, in 1975, he represented Singapore at the World Popular Song Festival held at the Budokan in Tokyo. A career highlight came in 1998, when he was honoured with a special invitation to perform the song he had penned for Mother Teresa at her tomb in the Missionaries of Charity headquarters in Calcutta.
