Cantare

Since its inception in December 2023, Cantare, comprising singers aged 8 to 20, represents a diverse tapestry of young voices unified by their passion for music and performance. Under the guidance of Mrs. Kwek-Puah Hwee Khee, an award-winning choral conductor with over two decades of local and international experience, Cantare has captivated audiences with their unwavering dedication.

Cantare made their grand debut at The Star Theatre, enthralling a 5000-strong audience and more recently graced the stage of the iconic Victoria Concert Hall in Singapore. In addition to their local engagements, Cantare is set for the international stage with plans for a trip to Hong Kong. This excursion will not only provide the choir with the opportunity to showcase their talent on a global platform but also facilitate choral exchanges with various choirs, fostering cultural exchange and artistic collaboration.

Looking ahead, Cantare is eagerly anticipating their participation in the Singapore Choral Festival in July 2024, where they will have the chance to compete and collaborate with some of the finest choral ensembles from around the world. With their passion for performance and visionary leadership, Cantare is committed to share and contribute to the world of choral music.
