Looking for a memorable way to celebrate Mother's Day and be entertained with songs we grew up with?

 

Join the Singapore Police Force (SPF) Band as they perform an evening of nostalgic music and songs dedicated to all mothers. Expect powerful and charming vocals, virtuosic solos, and a beautiful a capella group to fill the air as the SPF Band performs a wide range of music from evergreens to childhood tunes.

 

Some highlights for the evening include Somewhere Over the Rainbow, L-O-V-E, You Raise Me Up and many more!

Singapore Police Force Band

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) Band was formed in 1925 as the Straits Settlement Police Band. Over the years, it has evolved from a strict regimental marching band to a versatile performance band. Apart from being the oldest and one of the premier bands in Singapore, it also has the distinction of being the only band complemented by a group of bag pipers.

 

To generate artistic ideas and develop greater versatility, smaller ensembles such as Brass Quintet, Saxophone Quartet, Combo Band, and has attained a high professional standard of musicianship, which has been recognised both locally and internationally. The Singapore Police Force Wind Orchestra was formed in August 1998, giving the band yet another opportunity to keep up with developments around the world and music scene. Ever keen to explore new frontiers, the SPF Band aims to achieve this by strengthening its position as a premier band in Singapore and striving to be a world-class police band.
