Synopsis

Revisit K-pop classics from the early days of the K-wave. Curie, Mervyn and Aniq present an acoustic set of familiar K-pop tunes by hit artists such as 2NE1, BIGBANG, CNBLUE, SHINee and Girl’s Generation.

Roe Curie, Aniq Rusyaidi & Mervyn Ye

Singapore-born Korean Roe Curie is a pianist, singer and arranger. As a classically trained musician, she has sung with and accompanied various choral groups in Singapore. Beyond classical music, she is a vocalist, keyboardist, and arranger, and has collaborated with a wide range of musicians and producers in a variety of genres.

 

Aniq Rusyaidi is a singer-songwriter, producer and performer. Specialising in R&B and pop ballads, he has also branched out into the rock genre, dedicating his music career to producing J-rock and J-pop music.

 

Beatboxer Mervyn Ye, is one-third of Singaporean indie-pop trio HubbaBubbas. His innovative beats and rhythms have contributed to Hubbabubbas’s three million streams online, captivating audiences with the band’s unique sound.

 

Curie, Mervyn and Aniq are part of a Singaporean a cappella group, VOS A Cappella.
