An alt-R&B duo formed in late 2020 comprising Raizel Gonzales and Ian Lee, nkei seeks to create music through earnest songwriting, instrument-driven arrangements, and nuanced production. With a vast repertoire of songs in various genres, nkei amassed a large following amongst Singaporean youth through social media platforms such as TikTok and Instagram. The duo has performed at several live music venues in Singapore including Scape, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay and many more underground venues.
