Boon is a Malaysian working in Singapore as a security guard. Having sacrificed time from family to work in a toxic environment, Boon loses touch of what he's doing and begins to despise his job. After realising his daughter will be flying overseas to study, Boon seeks to return and see his daughter one last time. He is given one final assignment before he goes, to mentor a rookie, Caleb, who will be relieving him during his absence. However, Caleb and Boon share conflicting beliefs on how to do their jobs. With the limited time he has, will Boon be able to train Caleb before his daughter leaves?

Henry, a mind-reading superhero with fading stardom, is diagnosed with dementia. He tries to repair his relationship with his daughter Jade but is met with aloofness from her. Along the way, he slowly loses more control over his powers as his condition worsens. Then, Jade decides to tell Henry that she’s moving to Australia which causes Henry loses control in his rage.The father and daughter are then forced to work on mending their relationship, one step at a time.
