On the Street with ITE Dancers

Central K-pop Dance (ITE College Central) is a team of bubbly, K-pop-loving dancers who believe in having fun and exploring the various facets of K-pop dance to develop creative and confident individuals. They seek to constantly explore and challenge the concept of K-pop dance beyond just MV dances.

CW Korean Dance Wave started as an interest group for the K-pop fanatics in ITE College West. Since then, they have moved on to become one of the most popular CCAs on campus. Known for thought-provoking choreographies that push the boundaries of the genre, the team is not afraid to tackle controversial topics while maintaining excellence in technique and execution.

Formed in 2014, East Squad is ITE College East’s street dance group, known for their open choreography and stylistic hip-hop. The team recently emerged Champions for PAssionArts Festival’s Open Stage Dance competition 2022.

Big, explosive dance steps being the usual highlight of K-East’s (ITE College East) choreographies, the team hopes to engage and entertain audiences with its larger-than-life depiction of the ordinary person.

Urban Central Statements (UCS) is ITE College Central’s hip hop crew, specialising in street dance, including locking, waacking, lyrical and B-Boy moves. This energetic and passionate crew enjoys experimenting and has fused other genres of dance to accent their choreography.

West Styles District was formed in 2011 in ITE College West. They have been drawing recognition for their dynamic and powerful choreographies in the local hip hop dance scene. Even though their main genre is hip hop, the members have also explored dancehall, girl’s hip hop, street jazz, open choreography and more.
