The Keys of Waacking

Fellix Utama is a visual thinker, mover, wanderer and do-er with personal passions in the realm of visual arts, performing arts, dance forms influenced by ballroom culture and Japanese animation. 

A Chinese-Indonesian artist from Medan, Fellix is based in Singapore and has been pursuing waacking since 2014. In 2016, he won the Most All-Out-Rookie for Waack It Out in Singapore and was accorded the stage name, Lil Prince. 

Over the years, Fellix learned from waacking stalwarts in Singapore such as Ryezal Rahim, Bryan Lee, Rachel Racheezels, and Amin Sir Waackalot. As a member of the Nusantara Waackers (Indonesia Waacking Community), he also represented Indonesia for the All Asia Waacking Festival 2019 in Bali, Indonesia where he was evaluated under a panel of eight judges from around the world, including pioneer of waacking, Tyrone ‘The Bone’ Proctor. He was also a semi-finalist in Bangkok Paradisco 2018 Waacking Battle in Thailand and a quarter-finalist in Waack to Life Vol 2. in Jakarta, Indonesia. His most recent achievement includes emerging as a champion for Fierce Style Vol 6. 2023 in Singapore for the waacking category, judged by Axelle Ebony Munezero.

Verena is a Chinese Indonesian classical pianist from Jakarta, Indonesia. She started playing piano at the age of five. She completed her DipLCM in Piano Performance in 2014 and has won several piano competitions internationally. Recently, she won the Silver Award in the Professional category at the Singapore International Chinese Piano Competition in 2019.

She graduated with a Music Diploma from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2019 under the tutelage of Rena Cheung Phua. She is currently in her final year at LASALLE College of The Arts, pursuing a BA(Hons) Music in Classical Piano Performance under the tutelage of Mr Benjamin Loh.

Verena has been involved in many performances including Piano Voyage VIII: Night at the Opera (2021) and NAFA Piano Platform (2019). She was also in the NAFA Choir and performed Die Fledermaus Operetta at NAFA's 80th Anniversary (2018), Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 (2017), Rossini's Stabat Mater (2017) and the 250th Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Marathon Music Concert (2009).
