Synopsis

In this edition of Soundtracks, J-music vocal-keyboard duo grayscale will be performing a range of Japanese hits, putting its own spin on well-known songs like ‘Oz’ from the anime Ranking of Kings and Vocaloid classic ‘Senbonzakura’.

Mask-wearing is optional. However, audiences are encouraged to continue to exercise responsibility and caution, such as wearing masks when in crowded places. No tickets will be issued. Seats are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

grayscale is a J-music duo formed by keyboardist Ray and vocalist Grace. Prior to working together, both members had performed in various local J-culture events. grayscale formally debuted in the local J-music scene at Alter Ego in October 2019, and most recently performed at the TOFF Anime Matsuri 2022 held in early September.

 

As a two-man team, grayscale aims to challenge the limits of what two musicians can do with Japanese pop music and strives to present a wide repertoire that everyone can enjoy.
